Drafted amendments to Caledon's Official Plan, Future Caledon, to enhance protection of Natural Heritage Areas and strengthen On Farm Diversified Use in agricultural areas. (2024)

Opposed Ontario's Bill 212 on Highway 413, including changes to the Expropriations Act and exemptions from the Environmental Protection Act. (2024)

Opposed Ontario's Bill 5, which amended and repealed the Endangered Species Act, replaced it with the Species Conservation Act and reduced protections for species at risk. (2025)

Opposed Ontario's Bill 17 because of its threat to Caledon's financial stability and its ability to create and enforce green development standards.

Proposed turtle protection and turtle-nest measures during the Town's review of its Natural Heritage and Urban Forestry strategy. (2025)

Initiated Caledon's 2025 Bird Friendly City application request. The Town was approved in 2026, supporting bird habitat preservation and bird-friendly building and development practices.

Restarted Caledon's annual Earth Hour celebrations after they were discontinued during COVID-19 restrictions, with successful events in 2025 and 2026.

Advocated for provincial action on the spread of ticks, including safe control measures, public education and public health funding for Lyme disease. (2026)

Initiated a study on how the Town could help property owners remove invasive species such as phragmites, wild parsnip, giant hogweed, dog strangling vine and Japanese knotweed on lands adjacent to Town properties or road easements. (2026)

Asked for a made-in-Caledon policy on data centre construction because of environmental concerns around energy consumption, water usage and noise pollution.
